Leadership Training

Members of the Great Plains Conference,

We are grateful to report that at our recent ADVANCE Summit 2020, the Conference unanimously passed the proposed Conference Leadership Training program. After the vote, Bishop Garry Bryant commended the Conference for taking this important step.

The Conference Leadership Training is the equipping and releasing program designed to prepare leaders who express interest in potentially serving GPC in elected Conference Executive Council (Superintendent, Evangelism, World Missions, Discipleship Ministries, and Secretary/Treasurer) positions. Interested individuals will submit a completed application to attend the Conference Leadership Training events and, after approval, attend the classes, complete the assignments, and follow the guidelines designed to prepare them for potential elected service to GPC. Conference Leadership Training cycles run from November-July annually.

The application document is available on the Great Plains Conference website under the “about us” menu and must be submitted by October 31st. Applications may be submitted by mail at PO Box 31267, Amarillo, TX 79120 or by emailing completed documents to office@gpc-iphc.org
